Note: Make sure you have made enough pages with the featured image before figuring out the featured section. If you don’t make pages before, then gray overlay falls on the featured section.
In this free theme, you only have the option to choose Page as Featured Content but in the Pro theme, you can choose Page, Category and even add your own Custom Featured Content. You also have the option to choose from 6 different layouts for the featured section.
You can either follow the video or follow the below steps to configure the Featured section.
Please follow the below steps to configure the Featured Section.
- Go to Appearance > Customize > Front Page Setting > Featured Section.
- Enable Featured Area to show it on the homepage. Blue is enabled.
- Choose Featured Area contents.
- Click Publish.
